VIPER Operator @ Scotland Police

The successful candidate will arrange and assist in conducting Video Identification Parades in accordance with the Lord Advocates Guidelines. To give evidence in proceedings when lawfully cited and to collect and collate data and undertake the preparation of statistical data as required. The applicant will be required to work within the Edinburgh and the Lothian and Scottish Borders areas as well as out with as required. 

 Applicants must be educated to SQA Higher Grade level (or equivalent).  In the absence of qualifications, relevant working experience is essential in order to support familiarisation and on the job training for the role.
