Research - Interesting Cases

The Association, together with SRI Ltd, are working with an international television company to produce a documentary series on Super Recognisers. They are looking for interesting image based stories. So, for example, there are images on the internet of Elvis apparently alive and well, Hitler in Argentina after WW2, the men who escaped from Alcatraz years after the event and other strange (unsolved) cases. In UK there are the missing people cases, including Madeleine McCann, Lee Boxell, Andrew Gosden and others, where images could assist to find out their fate.

Can you find interesting cases involving CCTV or other images? Your research could make you money. If you have ideas, contact Mike via mike.neville@superrecognisersinternational.com to discuss. If your research can assist the TV station, then you will be paid.

Image Verification - home working

SRI has entered into a partnership with a facial recognition company to provide human verification of identifications produced by facial recognition software. The company is currently placing systems in venues. More details will be published once large venues re-open with the reduction in Covid 19 restrictions.

Super Recognisers & Police Force Conferences

Mike Neville has been asked to speak to two influential police committees regarding Super Recognisers. This month he is speaking to the National Police Chiefs Council (NPCC) CCTV Group. This is currently led by South Wales Police, but has representatives from police forces from all over England & Wales and the British Transport Police, which covers the UK.

Next month, he is delivering a presentation to the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), a worldwide body, with lots of US law enforcement agencies as members.

This will spread the word regarding our specialism. and create opportunities for employment.

Announcement re Jobs

Please note that at present any SRI jobs offered to those who hold a licence, having completed an recogniser course. This ensures that all concerned are aware of legal and data protection requirements. We also await the opening up of sports stadiums, concert venues and other large events, which have been closed due to Covid 19.
