Applications are being invited for the role of CCTV Processor. The role is part time and permanent, and will be based at South Division Cardinal Square, however the successful candidate may be required to work from Chesterfield CCTVPU on occasion, dependent on workloads.

Working within Joint Protective Services (Scientific Services Unit), this is an exciting and challenging opportunity to provide an accessible and resilient CCTV and VIPER service supporting local investigations for Bedfordshire Police and Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Constabularies.

Super Recognisers International Ltd are working in partnership with an automated facial recognition company.

The main purpose of the role is to utilise Imaging equipment, techniques and systems in order to facilitate the capture and production of visual evidence and provide a comprehensive Imaging service for investigative and criminal justice use.

The successful candidate will arrange and assist in conducting Video Identification Parades in accordance with the Lord Advocates Guidelines. To give evidence in proceedings when lawfully cited and to collect and collate data and undertake the preparation of statistical data as required. The applicant will be required to work within the Edinburgh and the Lothian and Scottish Borders areas as well as out with as required. 

A CCTV Evidence Officer is required for a Permanent Contract role paying £20,520.15 per annum with British Transport Police (BTP) based in Southampton. 

Digital devices and information communication technology are present in almost every investigation the police undertake. These range from complex corporate computer networks and high capacity server/workstations, to mobile phone handsets, games consoles, digital CCTV systems and satellite navigation. 

Working within Joint Protective Services (Scientific Services Unit), a new and exciting opportunity has arisen within the Forensic Imaging Unit at WGC, to contribute to achieving the Force vision, purpose and values.

A CCTV Evidence Officer is required for a Permanent Contract role paying £20,520.15 plus £2,570 London Allowance per annum with British Transport Police (BTP) based in West Ham, London. 

A CCTV Intelligence Operator is required on a Permanent Contract paying £23,310.30 per annum plus£2,570 London Allowance and 20% Shift Allowance with British Transport Police (BTP) based inLondon, Ebury Bridge.

The main function of this role is to provide an efficient service with regard to the operation of the CCTV System, using it to its full potential under the direction of the CCTV Manager.
